We at Ramp build a tool for connecting the open and the closed. We want to create a meshed, easily accessible connection between the open blockchain financial system and the old, closed banking system, with no need for a trusted third party in between. We are on a journey to an open, meshed, decentralized world where new financial systems help to build better futures.
Szymon and Przemek co-founded Ramp out of a passion for decentralization and freedom. They previously published a proposal for a decentralized p2p lending network. They co-established the Libertarian Party of Poland and have managed several NGOs.
Przemek is a programmer, econophysicist, and entrepreneur. Formerly an ML specialist at Boston Consulting Group. Szymon is a lawyer by training and entrepreneur by passion. He has worked for several legal firms, including Norton Rose Fulbright, and has led research efforts in a consulting firm focused on SEZs.
Katarzyna is a financial regulatory lawyer with experience in international corporations as well as specialised IT law firms. Her experience includes managing projects in the field of regulatory compliance (in banking, payment, insurance and investment sectors), as well as cloud computing transformations, introduction of new financial products, AML and data protection.
Grzegorz is a software developer with over 10 years of experience. He has built Userfeeds and CryptoVerse and launched several blockchain products like Userfeeds Platform, LinkExchange or Tok’n’talk. He holds patents in metadata aggregation algorithms.
Piotr is an experienced (20+ years) corporate banker turned crypto-enthusiast. Early adopter of Ethereum and EOS. Formerly worked in a number of international banks. His experience ranges from operations, payments, customer relationship management to product implementation, process management, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
